On April 6, 2011, the Canadian Securities Transition Office, in association with FAIR Canada, is holding a symposium to learn about the experiences of investor advisory panels in the United Kingdom and the United States. At the symposium, members of, and staff supporting, the Financial Services Authority’s Financial Services Consumer Panel and the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Investor Advisory Committee will discuss their experiences designing, and participating on, their organization’s investor panels. The symposium will be moderated by Ellen Roseman, personal finance and consumer affairs columnist with the Toronto Star’s business section and FAIR Canada board member. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panels.
