TSX Proposal for “Blank Cheque” IPOs
The TSX published a proposal in September 2008 to list Special Purpose Acquisition Corporations (“SPACs”) or “blank cheque” companies. FAIR Canada made a submission to the TSX raising serious concerns about the SPAC proposal as well as the public consultation process.
