The Ontario Court of Justice has sentenced Abraham Grossman to three years in jail for his role in running a “boiler room” operation involving shares of Shallow Oil and Gas Inc. The OSC has been successful in its quasi-criminal charges against Grossman and others for fraud and other violations of the Securities Act.
