Vancouver, BC | After receiving his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, Mr. de Gelder practiced law with a leading Canadian law firm for almost 25 years, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance and financial services matters. He joined Stern Partners Inc., a private investment company, as Executive Vice President in 2005, and is involved in all aspects of the group’s activities.
Mr. de Gelder is a past Executive Director of the British Columbia Securities Commission. He also serves, or has served, on a variety of corporate and community boards, including the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, Discovery Fund (VCC) Ltd., the Vancouver Board of Trade and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
