Lindsay is a Research Advisor, as well as Corporate Secretary, for the Canadian Foundation for Advancement of Investor Rights (FAIR Canada). A junior lawyer with a passion for securities regulation, financial market integrity and investor rights, Lindsay advises on the implications of legislation, rules and policies affecting Canadian investors, drafts submissions to securities regulators and other governmental bodies, and regularly meets with Canadian financial industry and FAIR Canada stakeholders.
Prior to joining FAIR Canada in 2010, Lindsay interned and completed her articles at a leading national law firm, including a secondment at a multinational automotive manufacturer. Before her legal career, Lindsay worked in various positions, including as a financial analyst, at a global automotive supplier and held a financial analyst position with the Queensland, Australia Department of Health. She obtained her law degree and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Windsor and was called to the Ontario bar in 2010. Lindsay is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
