Craig Burley worked for eight years as a Toronto lawyer with an emphasis in corporate and international tax with Torys LLP, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP. Craig’s practice included work on mergers and acquisitions, mutual funds and structured investment products, reorganizations and restructurings, securities compliance, and executive compensation.
In 2010, Craig established Craig Burley Consulting and Research to further his interest in international markets, leadership and management innovation, as well as research in tax, compensation and corporate finance. At the same time, he joined FAIR Canada as a research consultant. Craig has written frequently on law, management, and sports. Craig studied at Dalhousie, McGill and McMaster universities and his law degree is from the University of Toronto. He lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
